Yesterday it was 96 degrees. Today the clouds rolled in and it sprinkled! Driving to pick up Kaycee from dance we saw this!

We had a GREAT weekend at Doheny State Beach! The weather was really warm and the waves were huge!

Pumpkin Patch 2008

Here we go Matthew here we go!

Matthew is doing a Jr. Sports camp on Monday mornings. He LOVES it! The first two weeks they learned soccer, now they are learning baseball, next will be basketball. It is so fun to watch him.



A big thanks to our neighbor Jason for putting Matthew on a two wheeler bike with no training wheels! He just sort of took off! So Gary took his training wheels off his bike and took him up the street and off he went. He's so excited now and wants to ride all the time. He ate dinner tonight with his helmet on, so that he'd be ready to ride his bike as soon as he was finished!

I was pleasantly surprised when I logged onto my Yahoo mail account and saw the banner ad was Yes on Prop 8! Nice job! Someone is working hard out there to get this message around!

Birthdays, Jog-a-thon and Soccer, Oh My!

What a weekend we've had!

Thursday night we got to have our niece Maile come spend the weekend with us.

Friday morning Kaycee got the Trailblazer of the month award for Teamwork.
Friday was the girl's jog-a-thon for school. We came early to help set up and helped run it for Kaycee's class and Sydney's class. Matthew and Maile were troopers to be there for so long, and they both ran along with both classes! Sydney ran 23 laps, Kaycee ran 33 laps and I think Matthew and Maile ran over 40!

Friday was also Matthew's 4th birthday! We celebrated that night with Pat and Oscar's and presents! Matthew decided that he did NOT want a party this year, so we got him a few extra presents.

Saturday was soccer day! Kaycee had soccer pictures, a soccer party at Chick Fil A and her game. She does such a good job as goalie and this week NO one scored on her! Gary took Matthew out for some guy time to celebrate his birthday.

Sunday we enjoyed General Conference, then continued celebrating Matthew's birthday! Uncle Josh, Aunt Mimi and Alana came over (we still had Maile with us) and Grandpa Green came from Riverside. We had an Incredible Hulk cake, opened MORE presents, and enjoyed each other's company!
