Trunk or Treat

So this is how it happened. Our church has a trunk or treat party every year. Our kids were so excited they told their friends, who then told their friends, who told their friends. Our cousins were staying with us, and of course they came too! That's how we came to bring 11 kids to it! Thankfully my neighbor came to watch half of them! It was a fun night.

Teddy Bear Weekend

Matthew's kindergarten class has a traveling teddy bear. The kids take turns taking him home, and then they write about their time with Teddy. Matthew got it this weekend. Teddy got to go to Matthew's soccer game, play with cousins, meet Shamu (Matthew's cousin's stuffed animal!) and go to Trunk or Treat at church!

The Big Matthew

Matthew turned 5! We had his first friends' party this year. I thought it would be a great idea to have it at the park, so that we didn't have 10 little boys running around our house! Well--we had a few incidents! One of Matthew's friends broke his wrist, one got a bloody nose, and one got stung by a bee! Next year we'll have consent forms ready. :) But despite that, the kids had a great time! Happy Birthday Matthew!

Trailblazers of the Month

We had two trailblazers this month! Matthew got his for academic excellence, and Kaycee for citizenship! Great job Kaycee and Matthew!
