For now. . . .

We had a GREAT Thanksgiving week. The kids and I went to AZ to spend time with family and friends, we had a nice relaxing Thanksgiving dinner back here in CA, we caught up on some movies, decorated our house for Christmas and went hiking. I have lots of pictures, but for now, here's my favorite from hiking. What a beautiful area we live in!

Jr. Sports

Today was the last day of Matthew's Jr. Sports. They finished it up with football. He loved learning all the sports!

East or West?

Since it's supposed to be fall and it's "sand dune season" we had planned a trip East to the desert this weekend. However when we saw that it would be 94 degrees and the Santa Anna winds were going to kick up we decided instead to head West to the coast! We went to Mission Bay and kayaked, and tried Uncle Josh's new paddle board. It was BEAUTIFUL! It was so warm, the water was even warm enough to play in. We BBQ'd dinner (at 4:30 cause it gets dark so early!) and had a really really great day!

Soccer wrap up

Fall soccer is done! Kaycee had such a great time playing! She did great in her final game, against her friends Marly and Lorien! They tied 3-3.
